Yet another polish from OPI’s Katy Perry collection. I happened to love Katy’s song Teenage Dream, so I was pretty excited to wear this nail polish. Granted it’s pink. And glitter. Which, isn’t completely me, but I wanted to give it a shot none the less. If only for the name.
Teenage Dream is large silver holographic glitter, as well as smaller silver microglitter is a sheer jelly pink base. Formula wise it is very similar to SinfulColors Hottie (which is also most likely a dupe for Last Friday Night from this collection). I used three coats and as you can tell, I still have a very obvious visible nail line. I would not wear it alone, but it will be a fabulous glitter top coat.
I definitely like The One That Got Away more, but I’m not unhappy I picked up the mini set. With Valentine’s day coming up soon, I have a feeling I’ll get alot of use out of this
As with the other OPI glitter I have in a mini bottle (Gift of Gold), it was a bit difficult to work with the tiny opening and such a thick formula. So if this is a color you really like and would use often, I would recommend picking up the full size.
