I was so excited for China Glaze’s Spring 2011 Anchors Away collection JUST because of Pelican Gray. So when I spotted the display at Ulta, I grabbed it immediately.
Pelican Gray is a light gray with just the tiniest bit of a blue undertone with silver, purple and blue microglitter. It’s basically the gray version of Sally Hansen Mystic Lilac and I love it! Alot of grays don’t looks good against my super pale, cool skintone, but this polish is very flattering. And I feel like the shimmer adds dimension that most gray nail polishes do not have.
The formula, as usual with China Glaze, is good. I am an habitually three coater, but two coats would have been perfectly fine with this polish.
I can’t wait to try more colors from this collection
