Ok, run, do not walk to your nearest Orly retailer and get this polish. This, in my opinion, should be the IT polish of Fall 2011. It’s super pretty, has a cute name and most importantly is very unique.
I spotted Orly’s Fall 2011 collection, Birds of a Feather, at Ulta and for the most part the colors are just kind of ok. But Foul Play immediately jumped out at me.
Foul Play is a blackened purple jelly packed with duochrome flakies as well as violet glitter. It’s basically a purple version of Sephora by OPI 212 Sephora and it is absolutely gorgeous! Granted, it is a jelly, so the formula is quite thin. I needed 4 coats to really get an opaque color, but it was totally worth it!
It has honestly been along time since I was this excited by a new nail polish. I wore this when I went out last night and got so many compliments. This will definitely be on my tips alot this Fall

This looks like a dupe for Merry Midnight from OPI. Do you think so? Its an amazing color! love the flakies!
Katie and I were just talking about that last night. It’s similar to Merry Midnight but Merry Midnight is definitely more of a red purple where as this one is a blackened purple
That polish is to die for! I’ve been watching for it to pop up online (no Ulta where I live) but so far no luck. This one is a major lemming for me. ^_^

I couldn’t agree more about foul play and your opinion on the rest of the birds of a feather collection. I thought the same exact thing when i saw the display @ my local ulta too. The only ones I grabbed were this one and sea gurl.. Those were the 2 that jumped out at me.
I randomly came across this one at Ulta the other day and was surprised that none of the blogs had really talked about it yet. It was so pretty in the bottle that it was a no-brainer as to whether or not to purchase it. I haven’t worn it yet since its with my fall polishes, but I was excited about it.

This one is great – agree…it’s not the dupe that some say for OPI Merry Midnight – but close. This has a deeper purple and does not cover well as MM does. But I do love it – just have to have the time to build it up or put it on over another dark base shade. I have put it on over Road House Blue tonight (OPI) and it looks kind of nice that way.
I really love it over dark purples like Lincoln Park At Midnight
